Job description

Boom Sports delivers fun, active, and learning based services for children aged 4 -11 years. These include wraparound childcare (before and after school), lunch time clubs and after school sports clubs. We are passionate about giving every child an opportunity to play, learn and socialise through sports and other recreational activities.

We are seeking a Sports & Activity Coach to work within our primary school settings. This role requires an individual who is confident, active, and versatile with the ability to engage young people. The role can involve leading sports, active games and indoor activities (arts & crafts, group games, lego, word games, number games, etc) to children from the ages of 4-11 years. We have sites across West London.

Hours we are hiring for:

  • 7:30-9:00am (Breakfast Club - Both indoor and outdoor themed activities).

  • 11:45am-1:15pm (Lunch Time Clubs - Specific Sports e.g. Basketball)

  • 3:15-4:45pm (After School Sports Clubs - Specific Sports e.g. Football)

  • 3:00-6:00pm (After School Care - Both indoor and outdoor themed activities daily)

  • 3:30-5:30pm (After School Care - Both indoor and outdoor themed activities daily)

Requirements (Mandatory):

  • Sports coaching experience (1 year minimum)

  • Experience working with children aged 4-11 years (1 year minimum)

  • L1 Sports Coaching Qualification or higher

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate

  • First aid trained

  • Child Safeguarding Training

  • Live within a 30 minute travel distance from the site
