WEP Clinical is a market leader in Expanded Access Programs (EAP) and post-approval Named Patient Programs (PA-NPP). Our team of experts has over 15 years of experience and has distributed medicines in over 120 countries worldwide.




As the VP of Global Pricing & Market Access, you will play a pivotal role in establishing the Market Access division's capabilities in terms of expertise and innovation for the commercialisation of unlicensed medicines within Cell and Gene Therapies, Oncology, and rare diseases for WEP Clinical clients. You will drive the leadership of the Market Access division with all internal and external stakeholders for success and growth in the global marketplace.  


 


What You'll Do:





  • Develop the platform of capability and expertise within WEP Clinical to support new business development programs or attract new clients with a range of unique strategies to transition clients' assets from EAP and NPP to commercial access and reimbursement. 



  • Create a preferred partner environment where clients entrust the ambitions for their assets, transitioning from early access programs into strategic market access programmes that drive commercial success for licenced indications. 



  • Work with customers to advise, create and develop the market access strategy for their target markets. Provide expertise in terms of asset profiling, competitor landscaping, pricing scenario analyses, innovative value access agreements and local market negotiations on price and reimbursement. 



  • Drive the success of partners' products in global markets by providing strategic, technical knowledge and operational support across the defined markets.



  • Advise leadership team and senior staff members within the distribution and managed access departments of market access strategy.



  • Work cross-functionally with all departments within the distribution and managed access departments on each client strategy, implementation programme and support requirements. 



  • Identify, negotiate, appoint, and manage all third-party contracts and vendors in support of Market Access programmes, including local country partners for pricing and reimbursement across Europe and Global markets.  



  • Guide WEP clients in all relevant marketing authorisations, early access schemes, competitor analysis, pricing and reimbursement strategies, value propositions, adaptation of value stories, innovative pricing suggestions, and implementation of overall access strategy. 



  • Prepare proposals for clients’ programmes based on WEP and/or third-party resources, driving revenues and profitability for MA and contributing to the overall value of WEP. 



  • Prepare budgeting for the MA division, forecasting of income from client programmes linked to profitability and annual objectives and performance.  



  • Recruit resources and expertise as and when required to support the expansion of Market Access





    What You'll Need:


     



    • Demonstrated executive-level experience in establishing and scaling Post Approval Business Services and Divisions such as Market Access, Health Economics, RWD, including developing foundational strategies, operational frameworks, and cross-functional collaborations to support successful product access and reimbursement. 



    • Bachelor’s degree in a Scientific or Business discipline and/or MSc in Health Economics or Health Policy 



    • Budgetary / P&L responsibilities, forecasting and business management. 



    • Commercial background in Pharmaceuticals, specifically Specialised Treatments in Oncology, Cell & Gene, and Rare Disease therapy areas 



    • Commercial contracting with clients and vendors and third-party service providers 



    • Product life cycle management including new product introduction, and Commercialisation. 



    • Willingness to travel up to 25% 



    • Strong network within the European Reimbursement Agencies. 



    • Experience and leadership in people management, skill development and career planning
