Job description

W6 Physiotherapy in Hammersmith, West London, is offering an excellent job opportunity to an experienced self-employed Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.

We are looking for a driven and passionate practitioner with excellent assessment and clinical reasoning skills.

A successful candidate will take over the existing caseload of a key member of staff who is relocating.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat Musculoskeletal conditions

  • Develop and review treatment programmes encouraging exercise and movement, providing different treatment modalities and techniques specific to the patient’s case

  • Write patient case notes, reports, and onward referral letters

  • Liaise with Consultants and GPs, and other healthcare practitioners

  • Communicate effectively with other staff at W6 Physiotherapy

The candidate must:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK and have a sole trader account

  • Be registered with CSP & HCPC

  • Have Public Liability Insurance

  • Have DBS (CRB) clearance

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate musculoskeletal physiotherapy experience

  • Have experience working with an active population.

  • Be committed, responsible, hardworking, and punctual

  • Be an excellent communicator, able to work independently

An ideal candidate would:

  • Have excellent clinical reasoning skills

  • Have experience in managing a varied caseload of patients

  • Keep up-to-date with research and have up to date CPD portfolio

  • Have good people’s skills and the ability to network with other healthcare practitioners

  • Have AACP registration or equivalent (preferred) and have previous Pilates training
