About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and therapists to provide tailored support for students with diverse learning needs, helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the learning and development of students both in and outside the classroom.
- Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personal development strategies.
- Build strong, positive relationships with students, fostering their confidence and independence.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and specialists to deliver targeted interventions.
- Provide support with personal care and mobility when required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN is advantageous.
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting students.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with both students and staff.
