What You’ll Do:

The Branded Content Department is a creative, multi-skilled team of production experts, creating content for the modern media world. We produce a wide range of video and audio formats including short & long form, digital, social, live and audio/podcasts. We are an extension of the IMG Media production unit, providing content services to the wider Endeavor network and direct to client. 

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Project Manager to come on board and oversee the rights management and project management of photography-based content for a key client account.

The Project Manager will be proactive, self-sufficient and adept at maintaining good relationships with production partners and key contacts on behalf of the client. You will have the opportunity to work within IMG’s Branded Content Division and potentially support other productions within the department; however, the role will primarily service our largest client.

  • This is a fixed-term contract based at our Chiswick, London office with some travel to our Stockley Park office.
  • Working times may vary, due to client’s location in a different time zone.
  • Occasional European travel for client meetings may be required.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

Our client is an iconic luxury brand. In this role you will provide project management support to our client and their production partners around the licencing of photographic/still image content for our client’s prestigious international marketing campaigns, and ensure delivery of our service in a positive and timely manner.

  • You will be adept at facilitating clear communication between production partners and the Rights management team, focusing on collaboration whilst adapting to ever changing project workflows.
  • A solutions-focused problem solver, you will be responsible for the timely management of client needs and demands to the Research & Rights team, ensuring efficient use of resource, and assessing when additional freelance support it required.
  • You will manage all negotiation of use and subsequent payment of licencing agreements for any image used by the client and their production partners, ensuring meticulous record keeping and transparency.
  • As primary point of contact for the Rights Management Team, you will be a representative of both IMG and our client in all exchanges with rights owners, and nurture good relationships with all internal and external partners and stakeholders.
  • You will work closely with our research, media and rights management teams to ensure we respond to client/partner requests in a way that adheres to our values of professionalism, continuous improvement and adaptability.
  • Provide line management and coaching to the Rights Coordinator and Rights Assistant.
  • Oversee the financial management of the photographic rights on behalf of the client, with support from the Rights Coordinator to ensure accurate record keeping and timely reconciliation of rights and departmental budgets.
  • Maintain detailed understanding and record of our client’s licence agreements with photographers, archives, talent and event partners, providing clearly-presented reports as and when requested.
  • You will be an inquisitive learner, willing to engage with the wider account team to immerse yourself with the legacy projects of our client.

You Will Have The Following Strengths:

  • Experience of working in photography or stills/image licensing for advertising or commercial purposes.
  • Experience of account management
  • Experience of archive-based production workflows.
  • Experience of working with a high-profile client and talent, including communicating with key client stakeholders.
  • Experience with line management and working in teams.
  • Experience of working with commercial archive libraries and stock suppliers.
  • Experience of working with legal firms and reviewing contracts.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A meticulous approach to work and able to present detailed information clearly and accurately.
