Account Director / Senior Account Director - Lifestyle Team 

Reporting to the MD 

 

 

Sauce Communications and our Lifestyle Team have an exciting new role for an Account Director or Senior Account Director to join and lead several exciting Travel accounts.   

 

This is an amazing opportunity to help lead an expert team and drive the strategic integration with our new partner “The M Collective”. 

 

This is a hybrid role, based in Shepherds Bush with great salary and benefits!  PR Agency experience is a must as is exposure to travel clients.  Should you have worked with Restaurants that is also a winning formula & combination. 

  

This role will report to the MD and will support driving profitable implementation of strategies and activities agreed with clients.  It will also be vital to ensure we deliver brilliant activations & secure feature-led coverage. Please get in touch to hear more! 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:  

PR Strategy & Agency Business: 

  • Maintain senior level media relationships to ensure placement in key media and continue to develop a strong network of media contacts to ensure top coverage for our clients. 
  • Working with Founders & MD to develop a business strategy to drive revenue growth for Sauce, building on the existing portfolio of accounts through both organic growth and new client wins.  
  • Advocating a ‘client-first’ approach, blending agency-wide talents to deliver against client briefs; and delivering stand out campaigns and service.  
  • Keep abreast and in touch with key industry news, talent, and contacts. 

Client Relations: 

  • Demonstrating sector and client business knowledge to deliver strategic client counsel & customer delight.  
  • Create and implement a strategy to build engagement with clients, to help protect existing revenue; identify growth opportunities; and partner with new clients / projects.  
  • Keep oversight on all client budgets and financials.  
  • Attending quarterly client review meetings and maintaining senior contact as appropriate per client.  
  • Ensure timely contract renewal conversations planned and managed with key clients.  
  • Represent the company at key external events - to support new business initiatives and to recruit top talent.  
  • Support the career-pathing and overall team management and line- management of Account Directors and other levels where relevant.  
  • Act as senior ambassador for Sauce at all times.  
  • Diarize and lead monthly AD meetings to share figures, business challenges and opportunities.  
  • Support Founders and MD with overall team building / best ways of working initiatives. 

Key Competencies to successfully deliver in the role: 

  • Strong PR Agency experience within a fast-paced team or In house experience in a lux travel hotel or similar.  Historic agency experience is helpful to understand Agency life. 
  • Exposure to representing clients in the travel industry - brands, restaurants exposure also helpful. 
  • Leading with building relationships. 
  • Communicate in a respectful and thoughtful manner.
