This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, energetic and talented individual with previous experience working within a multi-national organisation, to join a truly global and fast-paced international team.  Following recent significant growth, we have defined a new IT operating model and governance framework which reflects the scale of our operation and positions the IT function to more effectively support future growth.

As a member of the headquarters IT team, the IT Governance Manager plays a key role in ensuring through effective governance processes that the International IT organization is robust and focused on managing the key technology risks, as well as developing the operating model and managing its performance. The IT Governance Manager will also have a key leadership role in global IT projects.

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position; however, these are not exhaustive.

  • Establishing and embedding the new IT operating model and governance framework across all International markets, working closely with the local IT teams to provide support and change management
  • Ownership of the review, revision and publication of International IT policies and procedures in in line with agreed review periods. Additionally, providing support guidance and oversight to the country IT teams to produce and manage country IT policies and procedures
  • Assurance testing of compliance with policies and procedures across all markets
  • Development of a performance management framework, reporting and metrics to ensure that IT delivers measurable value to the organization.
  • Ownership of the IT risk management process and IT audit action plans
  • Co-ordination of key governance forums including the IT Steering Committee and IT Project Board in terms of producing agendas, co-ordinating input, distribution of materials, and tracking completion of actions
  • Responsible for managing the preparation, review and consolidation of business plans and budgets for the IT organization.
  • Accountable for administration of International IT governance systems, in terms of teammate access approvals, change management and security governance.
  • Project management relating to implementation of updates or changes to International IT systems or processes.

This teammate will develop and maintain strong relationships with IT teams across all International markets, key stakeholders in Enterprise IT and operational teams in each of our markets, ensuring that effective governance controls are in place and evidenced. The teammate will work closely with other functions – Clinical, Operations, Risk, Finance and Strategy.
