People Relations Advisor

Location: Chiswick, W4 3NN


We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised People Relations Advisor to join our team in West London. Balancing employee relations responsibilities with administrative and generalist tasks, this role thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Reporting to the People Relations Manager, you’ll provide advice and support across various people processes, including system administration, reporting, and reward management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legally compliant ER advice in line with company values.
  • Deliver short ER-focused training sessions for management.
  • Contribute to policy reviews and create/uphold people policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance employee experience and embed company values.
  • Address internal HR queries, offering professional, confidential support across employee relations, terms and conditions, and policies.
  • Assist in projects including TUPE, transformation initiatives, and employer branding.
  • Manage family-friendly matters, flexible working requests, absence, and occupational health referrals.
  • Support the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to departure.
  • Ensure HR systems are accurate and employee records maintained.
  • Implement People calendar events, such as pay reviews and appraisals, ensuring consistency and excellence.
  • Contribute to people-related aspects of business transformation projects.

Qualifications/Experience Preferred:

  • CIPD qualified or working towards it, with generalist HR experience.
  • Experience in a multi-site retailer is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Proven ability to analyse data, identify trends, and deliver exceptional service.
