Job description

This role will sit in the central brand and marketing planning function. Our brand lead will be a solo team member, at a mid-senior position. They will be accountable for successfully applying the global brand vision and ensuring that every market worldwide has the tools and guidance to adhere to our brand guidelines. 

This role will be operationally heavy - focused on setting processes for brand governance and distribution of assets via templated solutions.  

Our ambition is to make DAZN a global brand. With the support of the VP, you will drive creative excellence at every level and champion the DAZN brand vision through every consumer & business touchpoint.  

As our new Brand Lead, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Implement a new brand governance process, including brand approvals, auditing, and regional brand reviews. 

  • Guide our DAZN design output & delivery of high-quality assets for use across all branded touch points. Including input into marketing automation creative.  

  • Build brand planning calendar & documentation, for visibility on key brand activities & roll out plans on a quarterly and annual basis. 

  • Support governance of DAZN brand architecture for new & existing products- including application in creative, design, production, marketing etc. 

  • Set up new processes with product teams to ensure brand is properly reflected in product roadmaps. Covering sales UX & customer experience. 

  • Core stakeholder in all marketing planning processes, ensuring brand application and messaging is clear to consumers and consistent globally. 

  • Lead and coordinate external agencies as our brand evolves. Including project management, budget coordination. 

  • Link with global comms team regularly to ensure brand is strongly reflected in corporate, consumer and employee comms narrative. 

  • Receive of all brand briefs from internal stakeholders. Adapt briefs to provide clear and inspiring direction to creative teams before presenting work back to stakeholders. 

  • Ensure reporting of brand & product data is consistent to help markets understand impact of their communications activity. Report back to VP and leadership team on recommendations & actions.  

You’ll have:

  • Strong Leadership experience leading and delivering large global projects.

  • Experience managing complex organisations - strong at maintaining brand position and processes with challenging stakeholders.

  • Directing international markets to craft strong creative and brand output. Comfortable running business wide meetings, and global marketing programmes.

  • Comfortable with senior stakeholder management- including presentations to exec level management- CMO, market CEOs etc.

  • Experience managing external and internal creative teams and agencies. Critiquing work, and driving high quality output at every level. 

  • Established experience of operating at large, international brands at the level of seniority that is described in the competencies above.

  • Strong international experience of managing brands across markets.

This role can be based in London, Hammersmith.
