SENCo Required for Secondary School in Hammersmith & Fulham | January 2025

Are you an experienced SENCo looking for your next opportunity in a dynamic Secondary School?

We are working with a highly regarded Secondary School in Hammersmith & Fulham that is seeking a passionate and experienced SENCo to join their team in September 2024. The school is looking for a committed individual with a proven ability to support students with a variety of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and anxiety disorders. You will be responsible for overseeing the identification and support of students with additional needs, collaborating with staff, parents, and external agencies, and leading initiatives to improve attendance, achievement, and well-being for all students, particularly those with SEN.

• Salary: MPS/UPS Inner London + SEN Allowance
• OFSTED Rating: 'Good' with Outstanding features

SENCo - Job Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven track record in improving attendance and attainment for students with SEN
• National SENCo Award (or in the process of obtaining)
• Experience in supporting students with SEN conditions such as ASD, ADHD, ODD, and knowledge of child development
• Enhanced DBS certificate
• Experience in leading and managing staff, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
