Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with special educational needs, including autism, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
  • Assist the class teacher in creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and assist with the delivery of personalized learning activities.
  • Help students develop their social, emotional, and academic skills, ensuring a positive learning experience.
  • Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback to the teacher and parents as needed.
  • Foster a caring, safe, and supportive environment for all students, adhering to safeguarding policies.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably with SEN.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to helping children achieve their full potential and supporting their emotional and academic growth.
