An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate, ambitious, and dedicated MFL Teacher (ECT) to join a progressive and high-achieving Secondary School in Haringey this September 2025.

This MFL Teacher (ECT) role will see you joining a creative and innovative Languages department, offering exceptional support during your ECT years. You will be mentored by an experienced Lead Practitioner and have access to weekly CPD training, ensuring you thrive as an early-career teacher.

We are particularly keen to hear from aspiring MFL Teachers who are passionate about working in diverse and disadvantaged communities, as this school has a high number of Pupil Premium students who benefit from dedicated and inspiring educators.

• Role: MFL Teacher (ECT)

• Contract: Full-time, permanent school contract
• School: Dynamic and well-resourced 11-18 Secondary School
• Department: Supportive and close-knit Modern Languages team with a talented Head of Department
• Mentorship & Training: Weekly CPD sessions and an experienced Lead Practitioner as your mentor

MFL Teacher (ECT) – Candidate Requirements:

• UK teaching qualification (PGCE, SCITT, or BEd)
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Minimum 2:1 degree in Science (preferably Chemistry)
• Ability to deliver outstanding teaching up to KS5
• A creative and engaging teaching style to inspire learning
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education
