The team

ITV Studios is a global home for handpicked teams with the freedom to deliver the unexpected every day. With incredible shows like The Voice, Love Island, Mr Bates vs The Post Office, Queer Eye and Snowpiercer, we have 60 labels in 13 countries and 90,000+ hours in our catalogue.

The Global Insights Coordinator will be part of the Global Insights Team, sitting within Commercial Strategy. Insights is a crucial part of the team, working for stakeholders in marketing, sales, strategy, content acquisition, digital, brand licensing  and UK and international labels, providing insights and performance analysis that underpin our business.

The role

This role will work as part of the Studios’ Global Insights team, supporting our international sales teams as well as marketing and production teams, with industry insight, programme and channel data and competitor information that will help drive forward deals, content development and strategic initiatives.

The Coordinator will develop their research skills and increase their level of industry knowledge so that they can support the Insights team in ensuring our stakeholders are provided with intelligent, creative and inspirational insights they need for decision-making across the Studios business.

The Coordinator role will be varied so no two days are the same, but for a flavour of what it might be like: there will be tasks such as running performance data for a new Love Island series in Germany to feedback to our sales team, updating the team website, summarising a report on the Drama TV genre for our Scripted teams, scheduling sessions for industry experts to come and present to the business, and searching for relevant competitor TV shows which our teams should be aware of. The Studios’ Insights team is lucky to be involved in many exciting and important projects that can really have an impact on the business as a whole. The role will entail but not be limited to:

  • Pre and post markets competitor analysis

  • Ad-hoc research requests

  • Presenting research back to teams across the business

  • Keeping our intranet site up to date and producing monthly round-up emails

  • Maintaining programme schedule trackers

  • Keeping abreast of industry updates, news and developments to share with the team and wider stakeholders

  • Coordinating the weekly team meetings, including agenda management and minutes

  • Organising and scheduling events and presentations

  • Organising team finance and departmental subscriptions

  • Maintaining email distribution lists

  • Proactively engage with other teams on various projects

  • Working with content acquisition and marketing on brand plans for key titles

As the role progresses, the Coordinator will take sole responsibility for some of these tasks
