SCRUM Theatre is looking for a dedicated and highly organised General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our growing arts hub in Hammersmith, SCRUM Studios.

This is a senior role within our organisation. As General Manager, you'll be overseeing studio bookings, coordinating artistic programmes, handling company administration, as well as looking after our pool of Duty Manager artists. You'll work closely with the Executive Director and the wider team to develop operational systems, drive revenue generation, and ensure the venue remains a welcoming and functional space for artists. For a full job description and application form, please see the link to our website page.

We want to hear from applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences, who might be looking for an exciting step up, or even a challenging step sideways from an existing role. We're particularly interested in residents in the Hammersmith area who may possess the following skills:

● A minimum of 1 year in a managerial role in a public-facing venue.
● Budget creation and management skills, with a track record of maintaining efficient operations.
● Demonstrated success in supervising teams, managing schedules, and fostering a supportive, collaborative work environment.
● Proactive and highly organized, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage a dynamic workload.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise comfortably with a variety of artists, collaborators, and charity stakeholders.
● Knowledgeable about health and safety protocols, with experience enforcing compliance standards.

Please don't feel you have to meet every requirement -- we’d love to hear what you’d like to grow into, and how this role fits in your growth trajectory.

Closing date for submissions is 02/04, and interviews will take place from 28/04. We look forward to hearing from you!
