The Role:

  • Teach Drama across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5

  • Contribute to the development and enrichment of the Drama curriculum
  • Utilize innovative teaching methodologies and technology to enhance learning
  • Direct and produce school productions, showcasing student talent

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses a strong background in Drama, with a relevant degree from a reputable university or drama school
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Demonstrates a proven track record of successful Drama teaching in a secondary school setting
  • Is an enthusiastic and engaging educator with a genuine passion for Drama and a desire to inspire young minds
  • Has excellent subject knowledge across all key stages, including acting, directing, and theatre history
  • Is committed to fostering a love of learning and promoting creativity and confidence in all students
  • Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
